Us Now The Film Part 3

by admin · 0 comments

Continuing the film project about the power of mass collaboration, government and the internet.

Certain topics discussed in this part of the documentary have given me a valuable insight into why more and more administrators of online communities are moving away from the usual ‘one-to-many’ approach to ‘engage’ their members. Instead they’re adopting the ‘many-to-many’ approach which provides their members with a collaborative platform of greater power from which to self-adminster and strengthen the community.

Could your online projects benefit from applying the ‘many-to-many’ model?

If any of the topics discussed in this episode provide you with flashes of inspiration and you’re willing… please share your thoughts and views with others who, in turn, may also become inspired.

Today’s contributors are…

Clay Shirky - New York University

Charles Leadbeater - Author, We Think

Saul Albert - The People Speak

Jack Howe - Ebbsfleet United Fan

William Heath - Ideal Government

Paul Miller - School of Everything. “…you can design systems or institutions from the bottom up and let them self-organize.”

Stewart Fowler - Ebbsfleet United Fan

MT Rainey - Horsesmouth

Sophia Parker - Social Innovation Lab

**additional** I know, it’s bugging me too! As some of you may already know, I’m not a techie, so if you’re a Wordpress officianado please teach me how to ‘fix’ this column width problem. Not only will I be extremely grateful, I’ll try and return the favor by reciprocating in some way that’s useful to one of your current projects.
